Engineer in microtechology, specialized in horological engineering,
I am looking for a position in the creation of new timepieces.
Attracted by the world of miniature mechanics, I discovered my passion for it during my years of training at the Finnish School of Watchmaking, where I was able to take my first steps into the world of watchmaking.
To follow up on this, coming to Switzerland was the obvious choice for me, to complete my training in horological engineering.
It allowed me to acquire knowledge of the physical phenomena of mechanical watchmaking as well as in the construction of movements and complications at the Haute-Ecole ARC in Neuchâtel.
Engineer in microtechnics.
Specialization : horological engineering
At the end of 2020, I embarked on a new adventure with an associate.
We opened an e-commerce site to sell pickleball equipment, a sport we have both played for several years.
In this company I take care of the technical realization of the site, as well as relations with our suppliers in the United States.
Skills:
HTML, CSS, Javascript and English.
PICKLEBALLEUROSPHERE.COM
Creation of a e-commerce site for products of an emerging sport in Europe.
I created the Ilmar brand with three friends in 2015. Fresh out of the Finnish watchmaking school, we had the idea of a brand with Nordic values.
We therefore rallied two other friends to the project, both from business school, to create the brand and launch our first product, the Ilmar Visa watch.
This watch features a birch dial, a hand-forged damask steel case and a reindeer leather strap. It is powered by an ETA 2892 movement.
For Ilmar, I take care of the CAD construction, the choice of materials and prototyping.
Skills:
Fusion 360 (CAD), case construction
ILMAR
Creation of a Finnish watch brand.
Product development
At the end of my engineering studies, I had the opportunity to do my bachelor's thesis for the Schaffhausen based manufacture.
The project was to create a new concept of automatic winding that would save space in height.
I was able to undertake the construction of this complication in total autonomy.
The technical realization remains confidential, but a patent filing process was started following this project.
Skills: Team work, CREO 4 (CAD), construction of complications, problem solving.

At Navigil, I held the position of micromechanic.
My main activity was the assembly of watches and sub-assemblies.
In the absence of the team leader I was responsible for the production team and priority management.
In addition to this meticulous work, I participated in the research and development for the creation of a new model.
I made my first prototypes by combining 3D printing and conventional machining.
Skills:
Micromechanical assembly, prototyping,
team management.

Passionate about new technologies, I regularly keep myself informed about advances in computing and robotics.
Curious and persevering, I like to understand how things work. Interested in rapid prototyping methods, I designed and built a 3D printer. This allowed me to fully immerse myself in this field with endless creative opportunities.
I love challenges, therefore I am ready to take on brand new projects even if the field is not in my comfort zone.
In addition to the pickleballeurosphere.com site, I have created a web application to facilitate pickleball refereeing in tournaments. I also have a project to create a portable ball machine.
I have been playing pickleball since 2015. I fell in love with it as soon as I played for the first time, and have not stopped ever since.
Pickleball is a racquet sport that is played partly like tennis but on a court of the size a badminton court.
I am very active in the sport both as a high level player and as a member of the board of directors of the European Federation, and also as director of Pickleball Eurosphere, a company which imports and sells equipment in Europe.
During my years of training and my professional experiences, I have had the opportunity to master several design software.
I mainly use Catia v5, which I used a lot during my time at HE-ARC, but I am also comfortable with CREO and Inventor.
In parallel with the design, I also used the simulation software MSC simdesigner, which is a module for Catia and the integrated simulation capabilities of CREO.
From a bilingual family, I speak French and Finnish as my native languages.
Growing up in Finland, the English language had an important role and the level very high as in other Nordic countries. In 2019, I passed the Cambridge English C2 certification, the highest level of the certifications offered, with a grade of A.
As Finland has two national languages, I also learned Swedish at school. In addition, I decided to take additional lessons, which allowed me to acquire the basics of the German language.
